The frame itself looked okay, so I don’t want to make it sound like the whole thing was terrible. But my print came back with a small crease and there was some dust trapped under the glass, which was frustrating. I feel like for what I paid, it’s fair to expect the artwork to be handled more carefully. Maybe I’m picky, but when you’re framing something you care about, those details really matter.

I ordered a custom frame from michaelscustomframing.com and was a little nervous about choosing the mat color online. Always hard to tell from a screen. But the colors were accurate, and the mat they recommended for my print ended up matching way better than I thought it would.

It made the whole thing look cleaner and more finished. Not overdone at all. Shipping took a bit, but nothing crazy. Overall, really happy with how it turned out and I’d order from them again.

My delivery showed up late. Which, okay, things happen. But then the pickup part was just... a mess. Nobody seemed to know what was going on, I was waiting around, getting different answers. Just not a smooth experience at all.

My framed print did arrive in one piece, so I was relieved about that. The box had some padding, but it felt kind of light for something with glass in it, if that makes sense. One corner of the outside box was dented, which made me a little nervous while opening it. Nothing ended up being broken, thankfully, but it was hard to describe, just didn’t feel as secure as I expected. Overall it was okay, just not amazing.

The frame looked clean, the poster was handled well, and I don’t have any real complaints about the actual quality of the work. It looked professional and was pretty much what I was hoping for. That said, the price was higher than I expected, even after using a coupon, which was a little disappointing. I know custom framing in general isn’t exactly cheap, so maybe that’s just how it goes, but for me the overall value felt just okay rather than amazing. I’d consider using them again, especially if I had something important I really wanted framed nicely, but I’d probably wait for a better sale or a bigger discount before going back

I was really happy with Michaels Custom Framing!!! They had way more mat and frame choices than I expected, and it was easy to find something that actually matched my print!!! I also liked that I could compare the different materials without feeling rushed or pressured. The finished piece turned out really nice and looks super clean on my wall!!!

They said it’d be quicker. It wasn’t.
